Clinical psychologists conduct research to increase our understanding of factors that influence mental health, improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment of mental health problems, and promote psychological well-being.

Dr. Jen Zwolinski is on sabbatical for academic year 2025-26, working on her Careers in Psychology book.
If you are interested in working with her when she returns in Fall 2026, her clinical psychology lab will be working on two projects. The first project is examining attitudes about telemental health. The second project is investigating factors related to how potential clients select a mental health professional.

This year, Dr. Green Rosas’ lab will focus on two projects. The first project aims to enhance psychotherapy services through treatment adaptions for culturally diverse families. The second project aims to reduce mental health disparities through community-engaged dissemination and implementation strategies.
