Purpose
Distributions from the fund shall be used to support scholarships for undergraduate students in the college studying in the sciences with preference for students of color and minorities underrepresented in science. Funds may be used primarily for but are not limited to student research summer stipends, research employment at USD during the regular school year, student travel related to research (such as field work or research conferences), and to purchase research supplies on behalf of students.

Purpose
The Edward B. Warren Scholarship Fund is to be held and administered as a restricted scholarship to be awarded to an undergraduate student majoring in a science program.

Purpose
Hannon Foundation Scholarships provide financial support to students in good academic standing and with the greatest unmet financial need who are majoring in Environmental and Ocean Sciences, Physics, or Behavioral Neuroscience. Awards are given once a year, in the Fall semester, in the amount of $5000 per student and are non†refundable. No more than 15 scholarships may be awarded each year to students in any single major, and at least 5 scholarships must be awarded each year to students in each of these three majors.
