Chamber Orchestra explores the rich repertoire of music that is written for bowed strings including violin, viola, cello and bass, with the possible addition of other instruments such as a keyboard or guitar.
USD students may enroll in Chamber Orchestra for one credit each semester, without limit.

Rehearsals and Performances
Regular rehearsals are held Mondays and Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters. Rehearsals outside the regular class time may be arranged under special circumstances.
Pre-College Program
High school students can earn college credit, completely free of charge, by joining USD Strings and any ensembles conducted by the Department of Music. Please contact music@sandiego.edu for details.
