Adding/Dropping a Recreation Class
For-Credit.
To register for-credit, please log in to your Academics portal. Use the search code "EDRC" to find your class section and number and register using the appropriate course CRN number. Attendance rules apply to receive a passing grade. The fee for the for-credit class will be billed through your Student Account.
- For-Credit Registration (Please use your MySanDiego class registration portal)
- Available to undergraduate students only
- Must be registered for less than 18 units prior to adding
- Fee charged automatically to your Student Account
- Maximum 2 credit classes per semester
- Classes added beyond the two allow will result in the student being removed, which may happen after the add/drop deadline.
Non-Credit
All non-credit participants, whether you are an undergraduate, graduate student, or employee, may sign up for non-credit courses through the Campus Recreation Online Registration process. All non-credit classes have a required fee. Fees are paid out of pocket online using a credit/debit card only.

Fall 2026 Add/Drop Deadlines:
- For-Credit registration (available to USD undergraduate students only)
- Registration begins on 4/8/26
- Add/Drop deadline is 9/11/26
- f you'd like to add a Recreation class after the add/drop deadline, please email campusrecreation@sandiego.edu.
- Campus Recreation will not grant any drops without a W or any refunds for late drops after the semester's add/drop deadline.
- Final "Drop with a W" deadline is 11/10/26
- Non-Credit registration (open to all students and employees)
- Registration begins in August, date may vary
- Add deadline for most non-credit classes is 10/31/26
- You may late add a non-credit class any time during the semester with the instructor's approval, however, please know that we will not pro-rate the class fee if you elect to join late.
- Drop deadline is 9/11/26
- Campus Recreation will not grant any drops or refunds if you drop the class after the semester's add/drop deadline.
Spring 2027 Add/Drop Deadlines:
- For-Credit registration (available to USD undergraduate students only)
- Registration begins on 11/2/26
- Add/Drop deadline is 2/3/27
- f you'd like to add a Recreation class after the add/drop deadline, please email campusrecreation@sandiego.edu.
- Campus Recreation will not grant any drops without a W or any refunds for late drops after the semester's add/drop deadline.
- Final "Drop with a W" deadline is 4/7/27.
- Non-Credit registration (open to all USD students, staff/faculty, and Facilities Use Pass Members)
- Registration begins in December, date may vary
- Add deadline for most non-credit classes is 3/31/27
- You may late add a non-credit class any time during the semester with the instructor's approval, however, please know that we will not pro-rate the class fee if you elect to join late.
- Drop deadline is 2/11/27
- Campus Recreation will not grant any drops or refunds if you drop the class after the semester's add/drop deadline.
Late Add/Drop Process
You can request to late-add or late-drop with a W as a final grade for a recreation class by emailing your name, USD ID# and class CRN to campusrecreation@sandiego.edu (please only use this email to request late adds or drops with a W for Recreation classes. For all other academic classes, please contact the Torero Hub or your Advisor). You will be notified if you are approved or denied a late add/drop within 3 business days of submitting your request.
Campus Rec will not grant drops without a W if it is past the University's "drop without a W" posted deadline. We cannot process drops after the University's final drop with a W deadline.
