Events and Committee Manager
Samantha Alu manages the logistics of the Burnham-Moores Center’s conferences, policy advisory board and the Burnham-Moores Center Real Estate Committee meetings, special events and workshops. Alu began working at the center in September 2021. She has seven years of escrow experience and most recently worked as a commercial escrow assistant at Fidelity National Title. In that role, she coordinated the opening and closing of commercial escrow sale and refinance transactions in San Diego and nationally; oversaw the disbursement of all funds on multi-million-dollar transactions; and provided exceptional customer service throughout every step of an escrow transaction.Samantha graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013 with a bachelor’s in history. In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, reading and baking delicious desserts to share with co-workers and students.
