Jen founded JLH Capital as an investment vehicle in 2016 and began the General Partnership in 2022. Jen was formerly the head of acquisitions for HP Investors, a San Diego based real estate investment firm. Prior to joining HP Investors, Jen was a principal at Pontus Capital and ran the firm’s capital markets efforts, including equity and debt capital raising initiatives, as well as contributing to the sourcing and underwriting of investments. Jen has managed over $250 million in commercial real estate acquisitions since 2016. Before moving back to California, Jen was deputy head of credit sales for Société Générale in NYC, where she managed a team of 11 institutional fixed income salespeople focused on the placement of public and private corporate debt. Jen began her career at Credit Suisse in the global credit products and real estate finance and securitization groups. Jen holds a BBA, with a concentration in finance and real estate from the University of San Diego and a MBA from the University of Minnesota. She has been an active member of the Real Estate Committee and the Real Estate Alumni Association Committee at the Burnham Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego.
