Military Discount

USD Military personnel/veterans may enjoy special savings.

Terms:

  • Customers must show verification of their military status such as a current military issued ID card, and a current USD ID card may also be asked for at the time of the transaction.
  • No other discounts can be applied/combined. No cash value.
  • Not eligible for purchases paid for with a USD corporate credit card.
  • Exclusions - discount is not eligible on:
    • Alcohol (La Gran Terraza, Concessions)
    • Computers, textbooks, diploma frame purchases, or website purchases (Torero Store)

USD Torero Store

USD Employees are eligible to receive a 10% off discount on most Torero Store purchases. Let our staff know when purchasing your items that you are a USD employee.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are similar to cash and may be used at all campus dining locations for most food and beverage items. Dining Dollars may be purchased by USD students and employees — faculty, staff and administrators.

To Purchase: login to the MySanDiego portal. Navigate to 'Torero Hub,' select 'My Torero Services' and locate the Meal Plan channel.

Purchase Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars may be used to purchase:

Most individual-sized food and beverage items, including:

  • Food and Beverages Made to Order
  • Individual Fruits and Vegetables (not packaged)
  • Snack Items
  • USD Branded Foods
  • Fountain Beverages
  • Bottled / Canned Beverages (1 liter in size or smaller, 2 items per transaction)
  • GET Food Menu items

Dining Dollars may not be used to purchase:

  • Groceries (including bulk candy, Torero Table items and packaged produce)
  • Non-food merchandise
  • Alcohol or entry to events featuring alcohol (such as Beer and/or Wine Dinners)
Terms
  • Unused Dining Dollars will roll over from semester to semester.
  • Dining Dollars for faculty and staff do not expire.
    • Note: Dining Dollars purchased by students expire on the last day of spring undergraduate finals.
  • Dining Dollars are non-refundable.
  • Bonus Dollars have no cash value.
  • Full-time faculty, staff and administrators are eligible for the bonus Dining Dollars offer.
  • No discounts apply to Dining Dollars.
