What is Campus Cash?
Campus Cash is the key to purchases and services at USD. It is a prepaid declining balance account managed through your Torero ID Card. To activate your account, all you need to do is make a deposit in any amount you choose. Within minutes you can use it via your Torero ID Card everywhere Campus Cash is accepted.
Purchases are deducted from your account and your remaining balance is instantly displayed. Campus Cash is a safe, fast, and an easy way to obtain the things you need.

Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars are similar to Campus Cash, but can be used on campus only to purchase food and beverages.
- If you have a current Meal Plan, you may add Dining Dollars via the GET Campus Cash site or via the free GET mobile app.
- To purchase Dining Dollars without a Meal Plan account; visit the MySanDiego portal, click on Torero Hub > My Torero Services > Meal Plan channel.
Discount in Dining
Receive 10% off when paying with Campus Cash at campus dining locations.
The 10% discount offer is available to everyone who pays for food/beverages with Campus Cash.

- GET food mobile app purchases
- Alcohol
- Special events at La Gran Terraza (such as beer and wine dinners)
- Non-food merchandise
- Discounts may not be combined. One discount per order.

GET Mobile App
The free GET Mobile app allows convenient access to your account. Download it to your phone via the App Store or Google Play.
Via the Campus Card GET site and app you may:
- Add funds to your card
- Campus Cash and Dining Dollar deposits are easy to make and are available within minutes. Anyone can add value to your account, but only you, with your ID, can make purchases.
- Dining Dollars may only be added via the GET site or app if you have an existing Meal Plan account.
- Campus Cash and Dining Dollar deposits are easy to make and are available within minutes. Anyone can add value to your account, but only you, with your ID, can make purchases.
- Report your physical ID Card lost or stolen.
- Upload a photo for your ID Card.
- Place mobile food orders for on campus dining locations - order and pay in advance via the app then pick up your food and go!
Save Time
Campus Cash is faster than cash or a credit card - swipe/scan your ID card or virtual ID (available within the MyUSD app) to pay and you are on your way.
Be sure to let the cashier know you would like to pay with your Campus Cash.
Your balance carries forward as long as you have a valid ID.
If you accidentally lose your ID Card, report it to Campus Card Services right away. Your funds are secure and will be immediately available when you receive a replacement ID Card.
There are no membership fees, service charges, minimum balances or "buy-in" required.

How to Purchase Campus Cash
Online
Make a deposit via the secure Campus Card GET website
In-Person
Visit the Campus Card office (UC 127) to add Campus Cash to your ID card. We accept: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
Gift Card
To purchase a Campus Cash Gift Card complete a Request Form.
The participant understands and agrees:
- Campus Cash accounts are not transferable.
- No interest or other earnings will be paid to the holder or credited by USD.
- Bonus funds are not refundable.
- Campus Cash may not be used to purchase alcohol.
- Restitution is required for overdrafts resulting from off-line transactions.
- USD is not responsible for any lost or stolen cards.
- ID Replacement cards are available for a fee.
- The user is responsible for immediately reporting a lost or stolen ID card in person at the Campus Card Services Office in UC 127 or via email: campuscard@sandiego.edu.
- The university is not responsible for the use of any lost or stolen card until reported.
- Patrons may not make cash withdrawals from their Campus Cash accounts. Funds may only be refunded upon graduation or by formally withdrawing from the university.
- If you graduate or withdraw, and have a balance in your account, you will need to go to the Campus Card office to request a refund. Or, you may request a refund via an email to campuscard@sandiego.edu. Please include your full name, USD ID#, and address for mailing. Once verified and confirmed Campus Card will send a refund check.
- Current account statements are available online via the Campus Card GET site.
- All sales transactions are debited from the Campus Cash account and the user is responsible for observing the transaction debited at the point and time of sale and for the monitoring of his/her own account balance.
- Campus Cash accounts, transcripts of their use, forms and records are property of the university. Use of these accounts may be revoked at any time.
- Terms and Conditions are subject to revisions, additions or deletions without notice at any time.
