Academics
As an integral part of the University of San Diego’s mission to educate the whole person, the Center for Community Service-Learning enlists USD students, faculty, staff and alumni in service projects with the community. The center believes participation in these partnership projects helps create a lifelong commitment to promote social change and justice. During their academic careers, more than two-thirds of USD’s undergraduates are involved in a range of community service projects including the Special Olympics, Best Buddies, and various mentoring and tutoring projects.
