Reading Room
The Reading Room is located on the second level of the LRC above the reference and circulation areas. The bulk of LRC print materials are housed here in Library of Congress call number order. The call numbers begin in the northwest corner
of the Reading Room with the "A" portion and end with the “Z” portion of the collection
in the northeast corner of the room.
Most materials that are purely legal in
nature are shelved in the “K” portion with “KF” containing United States
law materials. California materials are shelved as a separate
collection–and on a separate floor– in the LRC’s California Room.)
