Teacher Credential Programs

USD's education credential programs are approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Credentials are awarded by the CTC.
Credential Programs for Teachers:
Preliminary Multiple Subject credential (Elementary Education)
Preliminary Single Subject credential (Secondary Education)
Preliminary Education Specialist credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities (Special Education)
Credential Programs for Other School Personnel:
Preliminary Administrative Services credential (Program not accepting applications currently.)
Pupil Personnel Services credential in School Counseling (in conjunction with MA in Counseling)
