"I am a Master’s Entry Student in Nursing from the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. My specialty is in infectious disease and how it directly effects vulnerable populations. I currently hold the Co-Chair position for the Graduate Nursing Student Association and the Academic Affairs liaison for the Graduate Student Association." CONTACT: jennbula@gmail.com |
Representative Amanda Heard Nursing |
"I am a second year graduate student in the Master’s Entry Program into Nursing at the Hahn School of Nursing. I seek a career change into nursing after working for some time in the field of psychology. Thus far in the pursuit of my master’s I have enjoyed the international opportunities offered by the school and has helped serve the health needs of orphans in Mexico. I am excited to be close to graduation, realizing my nursing career goals and serving the community. In the remaining time at USD I hope to represent my peers from the Hahn School of Nursing at the university level in the GSC and within the school in the GNSA." CONTACT: aheard-09@sandiego.edu |
Representative Sam Chung SOLES |
" I certainly know a lot about being a graduate student because I have been one for 7+ years at The University of Georgia, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and the USD School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) doctoral program. I have also been a key member of several student associations and two social fraternities. I work full-time as the MSGL Assistant Director for Distance Education in USD's School of Business Administration. In the miniscule amount of free time he has, I also represent the SOLES Graduate Student Association this year while serving on the Graduate Student Council. CONTACT: samchung@gmail.com |

Representative Todd Headden School of Law |
"I am a third year law student and hail from Texas. I have thoroughly enjoyed USD since I came here the first time and have been impressed with USD's commitment to developing well-rounded students. I was also impressed to see two Nobel Peace Prize Laureates who spoke on campus or at USD sponsored events. The Graduate Student Council is a great vehicle for students to learn more about USD and I want to ensure that others have an enjoyable experience here like I have."
