"I am a third year law student and hail from Texas. I have thoroughly enjoyed
USD since I came here the first time and have been impressed with USD's
commitment to developing well-rounded students. I was also impressed to see
two Nobel Peace Prize Laureates who spoke on campus or at USD sponsored
events. The Graduate Student Council is a great vehicle for students to
learn more about USD and I want to ensure that others have an enjoyable
experience here like I have." |

| Jennifer Bula | Representative, Hahn School of Nursing Email: jennbula@gmail.com |
"I am a Master’s Entry Student in Nursing from the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. What this means is that I have a BA in Art History from the University of Washington and decided mid-career that I wanted to become a nurse. My specialty is in infectious disease and how it directly effects vulnerable populations. I currently hold the Co-Chair position for the Graduate Nursing Student Association and the Academic Affairs liaison for the Graduate Student Association." |
|
| Amanda Heard | Representative, Hahn School of Nursing Email: aheard-09@sandiego.edu |
"I am a second year graduate student in the Master’s Entry Program into Nursing at the Hahn School of Nursing. I seek a career change into nursing after working for some time in the field of psychology. Thus far in the pursuit of my master’s I have enjoyed the international opportunities offered by the school and has helped serve the health needs of orphans in Mexico. I am excited to be close to graduation, realizing my nursing career goals and serving the community. In the remaining time at USD I hope to represent my peers from the Hahn School of Nursing at the university level in the GSC and within the school in the GNSA." |

" I certainly know a lot about being a graduate student because I have been one
for 7+ years at The University of Georgia, the University of Nevada
Las Vegas, and the SOLES Leadership Studies doctoral program. I have
also been a key member of several student associations and two social
fraternities. I work full-time as the MSGL Assistant Director for
Distance Education in USD's School of Business Administration. In the
miniscule amount of free time he has, I also represent the
SOLES Graduate Student Association this year while serving on the
Graduate Student Council. |

I am in the last year of the Counseling program, focusing on College Counseling and Student Development. I currently work as a SDICCCA intern for SD City College in the Transfer/Career Center. | Jason Marsh | Representative, School of Law Email: jasonmarsh@gmail.com |
"I am a second year full-time student in the Law School here at USD. I am very excited to join the GSC and look forward to contributing to the experience of the campus-community.
Ever innovative and diligent, I, as a student representative at the law school, created new document-sharing strategies as well as a blog site to better communicate with my constituents. In my 10-year professional career preceding Law School, my community service efforts have included a role as a manager, responsible for just under 1000 clients in a Red Cross Shelter during Katrina Relief efforts, as well as directing a staff of over a hundred volunteers at a non-profit film festival." |

| Meg Kolupski | Representative, College of Arts and Sciences, Marine Science Email: mkolupski-10@sandiego.edu |
"I am a second-year marine science master's student originally from New York. My thesis is about development and sedimentation on coral reefs. The marine science program is very small, so I am glad to be involved in the GSC to create opportunities for myself and other graduate students building a strong graduate community to make a difference!" |

| Brook McGillis | Representative, College of Arts and Sciences, Pastoral Care and Counseling Email: bbmcgillis@gmail.com |
| Kyle Dupree | Representative, School of Business Email: kdupree50@hotmail.com |
"I am currently a second year IMBA student in the Graduate School of Business at USD. I love to travel and chose this program because of the international exposure it offers through it's course work. So far I have been to Africa and Spain and can't wait for my next trip. I have had a lot of fun over the past year working with our Graduate Business Student Association and am excited to be a part of the Graduate Student Council this year." |
