Amy is a second year student in the Masters Entry Program in Nursing through the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Sciences.  She is from a small town in California that no one knows about and moved to San Diego in 2009.  She attended USD for her undergraduate studies, and graduated in 2013 with a degree in biology.  She was actively involved in orientation program while attending USD and is excited to continue her involvement and with her position as GSC Chair.  Advocating for graduate and law students is a priority for her, and she looks forward to working with student leaders throughout the school year.  She currently works on campus in the Graduate and Law Student Commons and enjoys being able to work with students from different programs.  After graduating with her Master’s in Nursing, Amy is planning on pursuing the role of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse.  When she has free time, she enjoys relaxing at one of San Diego’s many beaches (with a book) or spending time with her family.
