Graduate Student Activity Fee
During the 2012-2013 academic year the GSC worked to propose a new structure for the distribution of the student activity fee between the GSC and school associations. The goal was to 1) provide additional financial resources to students for research and professional development and 2) create a formula by which an annual increase to the fee would occur based on the increase in tuition.
The proposal was passed at the February Board of Trustees meeting and will be implemented in the 2014-15 academic year. In the upcoming year the GSC will work with each school association to create processes by which students can apply for and receive funding.
