Accelerated RN to Master's Program (Post-RN)

Director's Welcome

The Accelerated RN-MSN program is designed for the Associate Degree or diploma-prepared nurse who wants to pursue the MSN degree. The program of study leads to the awarding of both the BSN and MSN degrees and eligibility for certification as a public health nurse in the state of California. The program offers six tracks at the MSN level: Executive Nurse Leader, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Nursing. All tracks share a common core of knowledge and each track is designed to prepare a graduate nurse in the respective areas.

The Accelerated Program is designed to decrease the total number of credits for the two degrees. Selected graduate courses are substituted for undergraduate courses.
