The Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO is a cannabis-specific brief assessment and feedback tool designed to educate college students about cannabis. The assessment takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and is self-guided.
When you access the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO, you are prompted to enter information about yourself. In addition to demographic information, enter information about your use of cannabis, spending patterns, and lifestyle. After all information has been entered, you can submit the form. The information you entered is validated and then processed. The Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO calculates a number of variables and compares your responses to national and University of San Diego norms. Then, that information is displayed in an easy-to-read format.

The Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO is a brief assessment that provides personalized feedback on how cannabis is affecting your life.
Mandated Students
If you have been mandated to complete the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO by the Office of Ethical Development and Restorative Practices, please make sure that you verify your completion of the brief assessment by clicking the "VERIFY COMPLETION OF YOUR E-CHECKUP TO GO" button at the end of your personalized feedback summary (under Resources tab).You are also required to fill out the "Your Personal Reflections" section.
The Center for Health and Wellness Promotion will verify your completion of the Cannabis E-Check TO GO and the "Your Personal Reflections" section. Print out your Personal Use Profile and bring it with you to your first session with the Center for Health and Wellness Promotion clinical staff member.
Non-mandated Students
If you are interested in taking the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO, feel free to do so. You are not required to verify your completion of the assessment nor fill out the "Your Personal Reflections" section.
Confidentiality and Access
Before you begin the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO, you will be given a User Identification Number (UID). You will be given the option to print out your UID or write down your UID in a safe place. It is essential that you do not share your UID with anyone and keep it in a safe place to ensure the confidentiality of your responses. After you complete the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO, you will need your User Identification Number if you wish to:
- Return to the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO at a later date to review your responses
- Complete the Cannabis E-Checkup TO GO again
