Become a Certified Student Educator. Inspire Young Minds Through Origami and Math!

Are you a high school student who enjoys working with kids, being creative, or exploring hands-on learning? The VisMO Teaching Certification Program is your chance to learn how to teach math concepts to younger students using origami and visual thinking.

Through this unique program, you'll:

• Learn how the brain understands shapes, folds, and patterns
• Practice teaching visual math lessons using origami
• Build leadership and communication skills
• Earn a VisMO Student Educator Certificate

You’ll be trained by experienced educators and receive all the materials you need. Once certified, you’ll teach real lessons to elementary or middle school students and make math exciting and fun for them, just like a real teacher!

Project eSPAC3, a University of San Diego and University of Florida four-year NSF-funded study, will launch two after-school programs—Parrot and Elephant—for 4th–5th graders & families in September 2025 from the Cajon Valley Unified School District. A randomized study will assess the impact of the programs on spatial thinking, career awareness & socioemotional development.

Pactful’s Changemaking Workshop at the 12th International Youth Conference (IYC12) in New York City—held during UNGA80’s High-Level Week—is an interactive design thinking experience where global youth leaders use creative activities to prototype real-world solutions for local and global challenges, contributing directly to the UN@80 Initiative and the future of multilateralism.
