No, this program is delivered primarily in person at USD. The Foundations of Team Coaching course is offered on 4 weekends over 4 months. Participants are required to attend every session to receive their certificate. The Human Relations for Leaders course requires in-person attendance at the 3-day Leadership for Change conference. The pre-session and post-sessions will be offered synchronously via Zoom to out-of-town participants during the week before and after the conference.

Participants are required to find a group or team to work with for the duration of the program.
No, the supervision needs to be procured independently by participants. A list of eligible supervisors will be provided. This supervision needs to be verified by the supervisor and the verification shared with faculty before USD will issue your Certificate in Team Coaching.
Participants who are new to team coaching will have completed one client team coaching engagement as part of the requirements for the Team Coaching Certificate. The remaining four client engagements required before applying for the ACTC through the ICF will need to be completed before, during, or after the closing of the program. Participants who have already completed 4 verifiable team coaching engagements before entering USD’s Team Coaching Certificate program will have the team coaching experience required by the ICF to be eligible to apply for the ACTC.
Current graduate students seeking graduate credit should register in the same manner they register for their other classes.
Professional development participants (non-degree seeking) are required to apply to the program and, on acceptance, register for each class and pay via credit card. Registration links will be made available to all admitted applicants during each registration period.- Professional development participants are not earning graduate credit (non-credit participants).
- Professional development participants do not receive grades nor transcripts from USD but can be provided with letters of completion after each class upon request.
- Professional development participants will receive a Certificate of Completion after completing all components of the Team Coaching Certificate program.
- Professional development participants will not receive a 1098-T from USD because payments for this registration type and rate are not considered tuition.
Non-credit participants - You may cancel 30 days or more prior to the starting date of the course, and your registration fee is refundable minus 5%. If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior, we will refund 50% of the program fee. No refunds are possible less than 14 days prior to the starting date.
Alternatively, you are welcome to transfer your entire registration fee to a future course, one time only. Once a registration fee is transferred, it will not be eligible for a future refund or another transfer. Requests for a transfer must be made prior to the start of the course and be completed within one year.
