How the HBCU Changemaker Fellowship Works

Current HBCU seniors or alumni from any graduating year can apply to the Juris Doctor and Master of Arts in Peace and Justice Dual Degree, Master of Arts in Social Innovation, and Master of Science in Conflict Management and Resolution for the Fall 2026 term and be eligible for the Kroc School HBCU Changemaker Fellowship Program. Fellowship applicants must be a student or alumnus/a of an HBCU institution.

The Kroc School's HBCU Changemaker Fellowship is a highly coveted opportunity designed for distinguished students and graduates of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), as defined by the U.S. Department of Education. This immersive fellowship offers a comprehensive experience that integrates cutting-edge academic theory, hands-on experiential learning, personalized mentorship, programmatic engagement, professional development, and personal transformation. By leveraging these elements, the fellowship aims to prepare and empower graduates to emerge as transformational leaders at the nexus of social innovation, entrepreneurship, business, and peacebuilding.
