Parking Information for Alumni

USD E-Permits & Designated Parking Areas

  • A valid e-permit or payment at a pay station is required Monday through Friday, between 7:00am - 7:00pm.
  • Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Parking violations may result in being ticketed or towed.
  • Parking violations and associated costs are the responsibility of the registered vehicle owner.

MPS and WPS

  • Alumni may park in MPS (Main Parking Structure) if parking is available and in WPS (West Parking Structure/Lot). MPS can be accessed from the East/Main entrance of campus, and WPS can be accessed from the West Entrance of campus.
  • Payment at pay stations is required Monday through Friday between 7:00am - 7:00pm.
  • The rates for parking in metered areas as follows:
Parking Meter Rates
  • The pay stations on campus accept coins as well as Visa & Mastercard credit/debit cards. They do not accept cash or American Express cards.
  • Payment in these areas is made according to license plate. Please note your license plate number after parking your vehicle, as this information is required when paying at a pay station. Once payment has been made, there is no need to place anything on the vehicle's dashboard.

Torero Way

(Street located in front of the Hahn University Center)
  • Alumni may park in the green-curbed spaces on Torero Way for up to two hours if parking is available. Torero Way can be accessed from the East/Main entrance of campus.
  • Payment at pay stations is required on Torero Way Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm. The rates are as follows:
    • $1.50/30 minutes
    • $3.00/1 hour
    • $6.00/2 hours

Weekly Parking E-Permits

  • Alumni may purchase weekly e-permits from the Office of Parking Services at the rate of $40/week (a valid alumni card is required to obtain this rate). For hourly and daily parking, you may pay at a paystation or use the ParkMobile app. Please visit the Alumni Membership Card website to obtain a card.

Complimentary Lunchtime Valet Parking at La Gran Terraza

  • Alumni receive free valet parking Monday-Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm in front of the Hahn University Center when dining at La Gran Terraza.

Please refrain from parking in the following spaces at any time:

  • Red Zone/Fire Lane
  • USD Vehicles Only
  • Disabled
  • Electronic Vehicle "EV" Only
  • Proximity
  • Reserved
