Turnitin Originality is an originality-checking and plagiarism prevention service that integrates directly into Canvas assignments and will allow you to review a report that checks students' work for similarities in various databases. In addition to Turnitin Originality, we have also activated a tool for students called Draft Coach. Draft Coach is activated through Google Docs and allows students to get real-time feedback on citations, grammar, and originality. Instructors can activate it too! To get started using this tool you needs to activate it within Google Docs. Once you have opened a new Google Doc navigate to the "Extensions" option in the main menu and select "Turnitin Draft Coach". Utilizing this tool is an important step in ensuring that your scholarly outputs are developed with a high degree of rigor and adherence to academic integrity policies.
