Professor Alarcón is a California attorney and public-sector leader who serves as an Attorney Supervisor/Tax Counsel III at the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, where she oversees attorneys and advises on confidentiality, disclosure, and administrative law. She previously worked as special counsel in the California Secretary of State’s Executive Division, supervising election-fraud investigations and leading compliance over language-access requirements and the National Voter Registration Act. Admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013, Alarcón joins USD School of Law with experience in government practice, compliance, and legal strategy.
