Professional Experience
Professor He works in a tax counsel supervisory role for the Franchise Tax Board (FTB), which she joined recently after many years at the Department of Tax & Fee Administration, formerly known as the Board of Equalization (BOE). She served in many roles at BOE, including as a tax counsel specialist, legal advisor and professional tax advisor. Previously, she worked at the California Department of Social Services as a legal analyst, handling administrative cases of various criminal matters. She clerked for the firm of Kazan, McClain, Abrams, Lyons, Farrise & Greenwood while in law school and served as a legal assistant for Inter-Pacific Law Group, Inc. Professor He also has experience as an education consultant in Australia and as an English language lecturer in China.
