2014 Technology Showcase: Innovation Celebration

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Rob Robinson, Solutions Director, Blackboard

Dr. Rob Robinson is a Solutions Director at Blackboard, where he focuses on strategic consulting engagements in higher education and online program management.  Prior to coming to Blackboard in early 2012, Rob served as Assistant Vice Provost for Educational Technology at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  From 1999 until 2010, Rob was a key leader with the University of Texas TeleCampus, a large-scale, system-wide organization supporting fully online degree programs, many of which were inter-institutional collaborative programs.  Prior to that, Rob spent many years working in various technology roles within higher education institutions.  He has consulted with organizations as diverse as the University of Missouri System, Troy University, and UC Berkeley Extension regarding the organization and management of large-scale online programs.  Rob is currently the President of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).
