The ITS Help Desk is your first stop for getting assistance with computer hardware and software, telephone, email and network problems in campus offices, labs, and student residence halls.
For assistance with computer problems, dial x7900 on campus or 619-260-7900 from off campus.
If your question is hardware related, the ITS Help Desk can help you directly with your equipment. If your particular issue cannot be solved over the phone, an appointment can be made for a technician to troubleshoot your office computer in person.
If your questions relate to supported software applications, the ITS Help Desk will find the appropriate technician or user services consultant to assist you.
Students may visit the ITS Help Desk in UC 117 to get a new MySanDiego e-mail account. Tech Support will make an appointment to go out and help students who are experiencing network, virus, or e-mail issues in the residence halls.
The ITS Help Desk also provides basic troubleshooting for Windows and Macintosh computers, as well as assistance with e-mail, web browsing, operating systems, and software.
