Thidarat Tinnakornsrisuphap, PhD, received her doctorate in Industrial Engineering with a major in Information Systems Engineering and a minor in Human Systems Engineering from Oregon State University. Prior to her PhD, she earned the Bachelor of Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.

Dr. Tinnakornsrisuphap teaches courses in statistics, design of experiments, facilities planning, Six Sigma, simulation, and human factors in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at the University of San Diego. She has work experience in the design, development and testing of databases and system applications, as well as a background in engineering, healthcare, and research. Her research interests include statistics, information systems, database design, and the application of Human Factors in system design. One of her recent research papers: “An Interoperable System for Automated Diagnosis of Cardiac Abnormalities from Electrocardiogram Data” has been published in the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics.
