The University of San Diego's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering partners with corporate sponsors who work with teams of senior-level students to create a project from concept through fabrication. In the fall semester, students work closely with industry sponsors to refine the problem statement and create conceptual design solutions. During the spring semester, the teams refine their conceptual designs and ultimately produce a final fabrication of a working 3D prototype. Working on industry-sponsored projects gives students practical, hands-on engineering experience, often onsite of the sponsoring company, while offering industry partners fresh, out-of-the-box ideas and tangible deliverables. Make your mark and gain invaluable experience that directly impacts real-world companies.
