Frank Jacobitz, PhD, pursues research that focuses on numerical simulation of fluid flow. Problems considered include turbulent and mixing processes in density stratified and rotating shear flows with geophysical applications in the atmosphere and oceans, as well as biological flows of blood in skeletal muscle and muscle fascia vessel networks.
