Yessica Green Rosas, PhD, teaches courses in the area of clinical psychology. Green Rosas’ research seeks to address systemic inequities by leveraging dissemination and implementation science to enhance mental health outcomes for marginalized communities, particularly Latine children and families. She is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Within-Agency Trainer and has co-led PCIT training both in the United States and internationally. She has clinical experience delivering wide range of evidence-based treatments (EBTs), including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and PCIT in hospital, university, and community mental health care settings.
Scholarly Work
Dr. Green Rosas received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of San Diego (USD) and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She completed her predoctoral internship at the UC San Francisco Multicultural Clinical Training Program (MCTP), where she provided trauma-informed individual and family therapy to publicly insured families. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Integrated Behavioral Health through UC San Francisco, where she provided dyadic services for families with children ages 0-5 at the pediatric primary care clinic in the San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH).
