The Department of Music equips students with foundational knowledge and skills to pursue a life in music beyond graduation. Together, students and faculty critically consider the practice and reception of music-making in the world, both historically and today. Every semester, the department hosts 12 to 20 concerts, offering opportunities for students to enhance their performance portfolios and status within the music community. Performances include offerings from our student ensembles and ensembles featuring our faculty.
