Who is Math Tutoring For?
Math tutoring at USD takes place in the Mathematics Learning Center (MLC). The MLC is open and free to USD students on an in-person, drop-in basis. Scroll down to see our hours and location.
We offer tutoring for the following math courses:
- Fundamentals of Algebraic Reasoning
- College Algebra
- Investigations in Modern Mathematics
- Essentials of Trigonometry
- Business Calculus
- Calculus I
- Calculus II
Students in other math courses are also welcome to stop by.
Who Are the Tutors?
Our peer tutors are selected through an application process and recommendations by faculty members. Although the tutors have been asked to give priority to students in the classes listed above, tutors with advanced training will help with other mathematics questions whenever they have time available.
