The purpose of this organization is to create a platform for cross-cultural student interactions, help international students from China to adjust to academic life in America, enhance the learning and immersion of Chinese language and culture for the USD community, promote mutual understanding, and build friendship that goes beyond linguistic and cultural confines. This organization will not only share various dimension of the Chinese culture with our students, faculty and alumni, it also reaches out to our communities.

The Chinese Language Union is a club dedicated to familiarizing American students with Chinese culture along with the language. We do this by hosting events that help students practice their language skills outside of a classroom setting. Whether it be meeting with international native speakers, watching Chinese movies, or even doing cultural exchanges where we integrate language practice with fun Chinese activities, we aim to help students feel more comfortable with their language skills.
Interested in joining?
We encourage people of all skill levels to attend our events. Having a range of skill levels enables us to help pair people together to practice speaking in addition to adding diversity to the dynamic of the club. We hope to see you at our next event!
