Geographic Information Systems Certificate

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate at USD offers comprehensive training in storing, analyzing, visualizing, manipulating, accessing and communicating spatial and temporal data connected to physical locations, with wide-ranging applications in various fields, including the natural and social sciences, government agencies, and business intelligence.

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate at USD equips students with the necessary tools and expertise to store, analyze, visualize, manipulate, access and communicate spatial and temporal data.

Students will work with the program director to complete the required courses for the certificate.
