Dan Hill

Lecturer in Real Estate; President, Acorn Hill Ventures

After retiring from the U.S. Navy, Dan launched a second career in residential real estate, receiving his salesperson license in 1996. Four years later, he earned his broker’s license. As the Broker of Record and Designated REALTOR® of two real estate offices in San Diego, Dan is responsible for approximately 300 licensees, with residential and commercial branches in each office. His career is one of leadership, transaction oversight, supervision, training and risk management. As a mentor and trainer of hundreds of agents, Dan provides in-depth insight into agent-to-client and agent-to-agent relationships, with a goal of continuing to improve the real estate industry. Recognized by others for his contributions, Dan is a two-time Broker of the Year award recipient.
