Lecturer in Real Estate; Principal, Hub & Spoke Communities

Alexander is the principal and founder of Hub & Spoke Communities, a real estate development company that builds mixed income housing in walkable, urban neighborhoods. Since 2016, Alexander has built five, ground-up new construction multifamily projects in San Diego with a total value over $80 million. Prior to forming Hub & Spoke Communities, Alexander worked for a developer that built several mid-rise residential projects in the Miami Arts and Entertainment District and Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in the placement of debt and equity transactions for a wide range of commercial property types throughout the United States. Alexander is co-chair of the Housing Product Council for the Urban Land Institute San Diego-Tijuana chapter, an active member of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce’s Infrastructure, Housing & Land Use Committee and is a member of the Real Estate Committee for University of San Diego’s Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate. Alexander received his MBA from the University of San Diego and his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Southern California.
