
Event Marketing Coordinator

Hilary Beggs serves as event marketing coordinator at the Knauss School of Business at the University of San Diego, where she provides comprehensive support and planning for recruitment events and other special events.
She previously served as the director of admissions at the Kroc School of Peace Studies. As director, she promoted the Kroc School’s graduate programs, supported potential applicants through the recruitment and admissions processes, and managed the admission review and procedures. Before serving as director, Beggs was the events durator for the Kroc School where she managed all aspects of the school’s signature community events and high-level discussion series. She also designed and oversaw the pivot to virtual events and engagement for the school that maintained the signature Kroc School experience and strong ties within the Kroc community.
Prior to joining the Kroc School, Beggs was the Manager of Events and Logistics for UA Global at the University of Arizona. She managed all of the major events for the university’s international office including high-profile dignitary visits, overseas events, and large-scale recruitment fairs. Beggs worked closely with UA Global and university leadership to achieve ambitious goals.
Beggs previously worked for the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. in the Public Affairs office organizing educational seminars and retreats for Members of Congress and visiting foreign elected officials. She also was an integral member of the leadership team that planned and executed the New Member Seminar for the 112th Congress, the official orientation for New Members of the House and their families.
After serving at the Library of Congress, Beggs was the Director of Events for Magnificent Mile Association, an adjunct faculty member at DePaul University, and ran fundraisers for the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank.
