Greg Skrovan is a Clinical Professor in Supply Chain Management at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business. He also serves as the Director for the USD Supply Chain Management Institute where he serves as the strategic and operational leader of the institute. Responsible for advancing SCMI’s mission to promote excellence in supply chain education, research, and industry collaboration.
Greg has more than 30 years of international supply chain experience across multiple industries. During his 27-year career at Intel Corporation, he held executive roles spanning logistics, procurement, supply line management, supply chain strategy. Most recently, he led Intel’s Global Reverse Logistics Organization, overseeing customer support operations and product returns exceeding $1 billion annually. Throughout his career, Greg led complex global supply chain operations and championed transformative initiatives in circular economy practices, fraud mitigation through AI and machine learning, and digital transformations. He launched Intel’s Returns Circular Economy program that was recognized for reducing waste to landfill from product returns to less than 1% while generating millions in revenue from re-use and resale.
In addition to his professional achievements, Greg has served on the Board of Directors for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), where he also chaired the Sustainable Supply Chain Committee. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Reverse Logistics Association and on the Supply Chain Management Council at Michigan State University, where he was also a frequent guest lecturer. Greg is a recognized thought leader and speaker on supply chain sustainability and innovation. He holds a Master of Science in International Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
