Tara Ceranic Salinas, PhD, is a professor of business ethics and the department chair of management at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on business ethics, women in management, corporate culture, and leadership. 

Her research primarily focuses on understanding what motivates ethical behavior in a variety of contexts and it appears in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Ethics Education, North American Case Research Journal, Encyclopedia of Business Ethics, Ivey Business School and various books and conference proceedings. 

Professor Salinas is currently working on research that aims to understand how personal values impact well-being and happiness as well as the role integrity plays in moral behavior. She explores these ideas via her monthly blog in Psychology Today

After completing a five-year term on the Executive Board of the International Association for Business and Society (IABS), Professor Salinas was named an IABS Fellow. In addition to reviewing for various journals and conferences in her academic discipline, she serves as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Business Ethics Education.
