#2

Claim Your USDOne Student Email and Account

24 hours after making the enrollment deposit, claim your USDOne account and email. To set up your USDOne, you will need the following information:

  • your 9-digit USD ID number (found in your official offer of admission email)
  • the email you used for your online application for admission
  • your date of birth (please make sure to input your date of birth in the MM-DD-YYYY format)

Once you have claimed your account, you can access your USD Torero Mail and the MySanDiego Portal with your newly created USDOne username and password. Please note that your USDOne username will also act as the first part of your student email address (username@sandiego.edu).

Please note that once you have claimed your USDOne, all future USD communications will be sent to your newly created USD student email. This is the email all USD staff and faculty will use to communicate with you. Please check it regularly so as not to miss any important information. Your program will begin communicating with you regarding orientation and registration as we near the start of the semester.

Apply for Financial Aid

DACAmented/Undocumented applicants who attended high school for at least three years in any U.S. state other than California, and graduated from high school in that state or passed the state's high school equivalency exam or GED should submit the USD Dream Act Application to be eligible for financial aid.

DACAmented/Undocumented applicants who meet California AB540 criteria should submit the California Dream Act Application.

If you have questions about which application you should file, visit this link for more information. If you need further assistance, please feel free to email UndocuAlly Financial Aid Counselor Patti Tarantino (ptarantino@sandiego.edu) for assistance (pictured). Please provide Patti with your USD ID number (found at the bottom of your admission letter), the name of your program, and your start term.
