First Year Women Rock: Let's Talk!
This discussion group provides a safe space for freshmen women to connect as they transtion into college life. Topics are generated by group members (e.g. friendship, relationshis and dating, body image, safety, and maintaining a school/life balance). Meetings are held on campus throughout the fall semester at 5:30-7 p.m. in the Women's Center, SLP 424.
Graduate Women
This discussion group provides an opportunity for graduate women to connect and have informal discussion about their personal, social and academic needs. For more opportunities to connect to fellow graduate students, please visit the University Ministry Graduate Student website.
Women of Color-on hiatus Fall 2009
This discussion group provides space for connection, growth, and empowerment through the open sharing of common experiences, concerns, and ideas. Topics are generated by group members (e.g., dealing with racism/sexism, maintaining cultural pride, balancing demands). Six ongoing meetings are held on campus throughout each semester, based on members’ schedules.
