Discussion Groups

First Year Womxn Rock

Join other first year students who identify as womxn as we build community, explore identity, engage in dialogue, and, of course, enjoy a free dinner courtesy of USD's Women's Commons and Associated Students.

Student Wellness Groups

Visit Student Wellness for more details about all wellness groups available on campus.

LGBTIQQ Rainbow Wellness

This wellness group is open for all self-identified LGBTIQQ students to create a space to explore in-depth, the unique stressors that impact the emotional well-being, academic functioning, and the experience of being LGBTIQQ at USD. Members will meet with group facilitators to identify individual goals to accomplish in the group.

LGBTQQ & Allies Discussion Group co-sponsored by PRIDE

Come together for an informal discussion made up of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and LGBTQQ ally students.

  • Share your concerns with other students and create community
  • Have a chance to exchange ideas, experiences, and opinions with others
  • Connect with other LGBTQQ/Ally students
  • You don't have to attend every week and can come as often as you'd like

Womxn of Color

This support group focuses on exploring issues of racial, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic difference on campus and how it affects our students. If you identify as a woman with a diverse background, this group may be a way for you to connect with others who may have similar experiences and feelings.
