2012 - 2014 BULLETIN YEAR

The new communication major offers students more flexibility and choice. Students can now select courses that relate to their interest and post-graduate plans and Communication faculty have made course recommendations based on themes. Choose from the following cluster of courses for specific interests: Law & Advocacy, Global Communication, Strategic Communication, Journalism, Entertainment Industry, and Graduate School. The course recommendations are not requirements, they are suggested courses based on the content.

Global Communication

The following are suggested classes for students interested in international and intercultural communication. Each course offers students a clear understanding of difference and how it impacts communication styles, culture, and social norms.

Journalism

Students interested in a career in journalism and writing for multimedia platforms should consider the following courses when making their selections.
