Mostly likely you will need to be within the topic major and have taken a prerequisite course to qualify. Check with your department.
Yes, absolutely. Many students do not have prior experience in the field.
3 units = 120 total hours
2 units = 80 total hours
Yes, but you need departmental approval for it to count for credit/units.
Maybe. For example, you may only count three units of internship toward a communication major. You may take three more units of internship as upper division elective credit IF you have no other practicum (e.g. the Student Media Practicum - COMM 493) in the College of Arts and Sciences. Ask the internship director if you are unsure.
The internship director must approve all students enrolled in our internship course. See the internship director to retrieve the correct CRN and to gain access to registration.
