Discussion Groups

This support group focuses on exploring issues of racial, ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic difference on campus and how it affects our students. We invite you to join us for conversation, sisterhood, and exploration of ways our racial and ethnic identities affect our student experiences. This space will focus on building community with others who may have had similar experiences and feelings. All are welcome!

Rainbow Process Group is a therapy group created specifically for students who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community! This group is unique as it is run by professional counselors and will be in a small, safe, private setting. Although the group is only for LGBTQIA+ folx, the focus of the group is not solely on sexual orientation or gender identity, but rather interpersonal concerns at large. This is a safe space where you don't have to worry about coming out, judgment, or explaining yourself. This group aims to create a deeper sense of community, enhance interpersonal experiences, and promote self-reflection and growth. For more information contact wellness@sandiego.edu.
