Since joining USD's student wellness team in 2023, Anne has focused on the development, implementation and evaluation of campus-wide mental and behavioral health initiatives, integrated wellness programs, and violence prevention efforts. Before coming to USD, Anne served in various leadership roles at the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) where she directed statewide initiatives in communicable disease control, COVID-19 response, and equity-driven workforce training and development. Among Anne's top 5 strengths and professional passions are developing and mentoring peer educators, interns, and professional staff. Her work has been published in leading journals such as the American Journal of Public Health, Public Health Reports, and the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice. In her spare time, Anne enjoys playing tennis, doing DIY home projects, and spending quality time with family and friends.
