To be eligible, you must have worked through Federal Work-Study (FWS)/College Work Opportunity (CWO) during the 2025-26 academic year, or have been awarded FWS for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. You must also be registered/enrolled for Fall 2026.

Description
Online research and administrative tasks related to projects under the communications (Kimberly), events
(Sam), student/career-related services (Jackie/Julia) and MSRE (Catherine) areas of the center, and other
team members as required. Assist at BMC conferences and events (may include printing name tags,
assisting with set-up and registration; assist with social media posts; the newsletter, and other
communications-related projects; and assisting other staff at the BMC as needed. The position reports to Jacqueline Greulich Assoc. Director of Real Estate Student Career Services
Skills
Must have excellent attention to detail, good proof-reading and online research skills required. Database
entry (Salesforce) experience preferred. Experienced with social media (Twitter, Linkedin, etc.); fluent in
Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Excellent phone etiquette, professionalism, general office
experience handling administrative tasks is required. Must be reliable, responsible, a team-player.
Experience handling name badges for events, use in CANVA or other design program, social media posts
and work in Excel documents.

-Create, maintain, and regularly update Student Employment spreadsheets, reports, and documents
-Maintain and update job postings through the Job Location and Development Program
-Organize, maintain and file FWS and Financial Aid forms
-Assist with brainstorming posts for the Student Employment Center's social media outlet(s) - Instagram, Newsletter, Free Webinar / Training promotions, etc.
-Assist the SEC Advisor, SEC Coordinator, and other Financial Aid staff with special projects

Description
Provide clerical and administrative support to the Associate and Assistant Deans in the
College. The scope includes data collection and analysis, assessment of programs and
initiatives within the College, communication with Department Chairs, event planning, and other duties as needed. The primary administrative duties involve front desk reception which includes answering the phone, greeting and directing visitors, answering basic questions, and helping manage appointments.

Skills
This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to relate easily to a variety of people and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discuss sensitive information with discretion and tact. Must be able to answer financial aid questions and interact professionally with parents and students. The applicant should be a detail-oriented, independent worker who can analyze information and respond appropriately on a case-by-case basis, while working in a team environment. Some prior knowledge of financial aid terminology would be helpful, but is not required.
