The Alcalá Award is, in effect, the “holism” award, presented to two seniors who have achieved the balanced development that has always been a goal of a USD education. The Alcalá Award is the only student award that is presented at Commencement. Recipients receive a plaque at Commencement, and their names will be placed on a permanent plaque located in the Hahn University Center foyer.
