Lee Williams, PhD, is a licensed Marital and Family Therapist, and an Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Williams teaches Couples and Sex Therapy, Gender Issues, and Practicum. He is author or co-author of four books, including Assessment in Couple Therapy, Essential Skills in Family Therapy (3rd edition), Essential Assessment Skills for Couple and Family Therapists, and the Clinician's Guide to Research Methods in Family Therapy. He has also published several journal articles and book chapters, primarily in the areas of premarital counseling, couples with religious differences, and family therapy training. Dr. Williams volunteered for 19 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs providing couple therapy to veterans and their partners.
