The California Global Education Project (CGEP) is one of nine discipline-based projects that form the California Subject Matter Project, a statewide professional learning network dedicated to serving K-12 educators. CGEP endeavors to develop the potential in every global citizen through professional learning programs and resources for teachers focused on the knowledge, skills, disposition and leadership needed to foster global competence.
CGEP customizes professional learning programs for TK-12 educators to support global education. With host sites at Humboldt County Office of Education, Glenn County Office of Education, Columbia School District, UC Berkeley (ORIAS), Orange County Department of Education, and San Diego County Office of Education, CGEP offers programs in these regions and beyond.
