Apply to the Certificate in Health Care Informatics Program.
To apply for the Certificate in Health Care Informatics Program, you'll need the following:
- A bachelor's degree from an approved, accredited college or university
- Basic computer skills and information management skills
- A basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
- Basic statistics course
- Basic understanding of medical terminology (Non health care professionals must complete the online medical terminology course by the end of the first term. This course is not part of the degree curriculum.)
- One year of work experience is preferred
- Completion of the university application
- Statement of purpose (approximately 300 words)
- Letter of recommendation from a current employer or two letters of reference
- Your resume/CV
- An interview (qualified applicants will be contacted to interview based on initial review of their application)
- Note that international applicants must meet additional requirements additional requirements for admission
